Working at Attic
You’ll get chance to live onsite with reduced rent, free utilities (WiFi, laundry, power — all the good stuff), and hourly pay above minimum wage. Roles include a mix of reception, housekeeping, and cleaning — a great way to gain hands-on experience while living affordably in central Auckland. You’ll be part of a small, supportive team that works hard, laughs often, and genuinely cares about creating a great space for travellers.
It’s varied — you might be flipping beds, checking in guests, cleaning the kitchen, or covering the overnight emergency phone. Everyone at Attic pitches in to keep our standards high, with a real focus on cleanliness and friendliness. You’ll get training, checklists, and support — but we also value people who can take initiative and bring good energy to the space.
You’ll need the right to work in New Zealand (a Working Holiday Visa is perfect), solid English, and a great attitude. We ask for a minimum 3-month commitment, ideally longer. If you’re reliable, kind, and happy to muck in — you’ll fit right in.
