We’re perched on the top floor of a heritage building in the heart of Auckland’s CBD, near the Sky Tower, Queen Street, and everything else you’ll need on your first few days in New Zealand. Meet the Humans Behind the Hostel
Attic changed hands in late 2023 when three mates — Patrick, Ethan, and Artje — took over with one goal: to create the kind of place they would’ve loved landing in as travellers. We’ve all stayed in our fair share of hostels — some great, some character-building — and we know how much it means to feel welcomed, safe, and looked after when you’ve just arrived in a new country. Especially when it’s your first night, your first solo trip, your first “okay… what now?”
